Same-Day New Baby Flower Delivery Across Perth

Babies do not check the calendar. Order before 12pm and we will deliver new baby flowers the same day, free of charge, to every suburb in the Perth metro area. No delivery fee at checkout. No minimum spends.

Most Perth florists charge for delivery. We do not, and the fee is the same whether you are sending to Subiaco or Joondalup, because there is no fee.

Sending New Baby Flowers to a Perth Hospital

Most new baby flowers are sent to a hospital, not a house, and hospitals have rules that a florist's website usually does not tell you about.

Three things worth knowing before you order:

• Some wards restrict flowers entirely. Intensive care and special care nurseries commonly do not accept flowers or plant material at all. If the baby is in special care, send to the family home instead.
• Strongly scented flowers are often restricted. Lilies in particular. Everything in our new baby range is chosen to be soft rather than fragrant.
• Wards do not have vases. A wrapped bouquet handed to a midwife becomes a problem for someone who is already busy. Send something that arrives in its own vessel.
  
  When you order, include the mother's full name, the ward and the room number. Without them, flowers sit at reception.

Flowers for the New Mum

Here is the thing almost every florist gets wrong: the flowers are not for the baby.

The baby is asleep, or feeding, or being passed around a room. The person who will look at the flowers is a woman who has just given birth, is running on no sleep, and is in a room with fluorescent lighting and a plastic chair. The flowers are for her.

That changes what you send. Soft rather than loud. Something she does not have to do anything to. Nothing she must trim, arrange, find water for, or carry home in one arm while holding a newborn in the other.

Our White Bouquet and Cylinder White were both built for exactly this, and neither appears in any of our other occasion collections.

New Baby Flower Arrangements vs Bouquets

Ten of our twelve new baby designs are arrangements, not bouquets, and that is deliberate. 

A wrapped bouquet needs a vase, scissors, fresh water and ten minutes. A new baby flower arrangement arrives finished. It gets put on a windowsill and that is the end of the job.

Baby Girl Flowers

Soft pinks, blush, peach and cream. The Cylinder Pastel and Amber Vase Pastel are the obvious choices, and the Large Tear drop Pastel if you want something with more presence.

Baby Boy Flowers

Blues, whites and greens rather than pinks. Our Blue Glass Dome is the direct answer here, and the Lemon Glass Dome works if you would rather something warmer than clinical.

For parents who did not find out, or would rather nobody colour-coded their newborn, white is the safe and better answer.

Should You Send Flowers Now, or Wait Until They Are Home?

A real question and there is no universal answer.

Send to the hospital if: you want the gesture to land in the moment, the stay is more than a night or two, and the ward accepts flowers. A hospital room is a bleak place, and flowers change it more there than they do anywhere else.

Send to the home if: the baby is in special care, the stay is short, the parents are being discharged within a day, or you simply do not know the ward details. Flowers arriving at a quiet house in week two, when the visitors have stopped and the reality has landed, are often the more useful gift.

There is no wrong answer here. Late flowers beat no flowers.

Keeping It Gentle

Newborns, new mothers and hospital wards all want the same things from a flower arrangement, and it is not drama.

• Low scent. Strongly fragranced flowers are unpleasant in a small room and are commonly restricted onwards.
• Soft colour. Five of our twelve new baby designs are white and three are pastel. That is not an accident, it is the brief.
• Manageable size. A Large Fishbowl White is a beautiful thing to receive and an awkward thing to carry to a car with a newborn. Consider where it must travel to.

Choosing a Colour

White is the default and the safest choice. Five of our twelve designs are white, including the Large Teardrop White and Cylinder White. It works for a boy, a girl, a surprise, or parents who did not want to be asked.

Pastel is soft without being sentimental. Three designs.

Bright is for parents who would rather have colour than reverence. Two designs, including the Large Teardrop Bright.

Native is one design, for anyone who finds the whole white-and-pastel convention a bit much.
